Absolute Telemark is about progression

The main idea behind this website is to promote the progression of the sport. In every way possible. Learning, evolving as telemark skiers, pushing the limits not through performance but through dedication.

Absolute Telemark is in the process of making a tutorial webseries.

These tutorials will cover subject like:

Basic telemark; tutorials will cover everything a beginner needs to know to get started. It even include a fast forward method for alpine skiers or snowboarders, eager to get rippin’ fast.
Telemark freestyle; tutorials will cover the new style telemark: switch telemark, snowpark jumps and modules.
Mogul telemark, tutorials will cover all the know how from the fundamental to all the advance stuff.
Powder telemark, tutorials will cover how to travel the backcountry, tree skiing, and of course powder turns

The first tutorials will be release November 8th 2013. More will be coming through out the winter and for the years to come. If we could produce 20 tutorial video on telemark, we really feel that it would help grow the community.

Our goal: serving the community

Through our blog we already started to build a community. We also attended a few telemark festivals, some backcountry awarness clinics and so on. Our intend is to keep serving the telemark community with our blog or throught events. We want to keep building a community here, on absolutetelemark. People passionate about the sport that keep wanting more from s, tha drive us to produce more content. This is how the telemark tips section is born. Don’t freak out, it’s not a reborn of the old forum. No, we wanted a real series of tips, videos made on or off hill that educated, entertain and inspire. The Telemark Tips section is already up and more content will be added trought the season.
